Data Scientist at Rabobank (Oct 2025 - Dec 2025)

• Setting up and running an experiment to detect confirmation bias in performance monitoring

Senior Data Scientist at Schiphol Group (Apr 2023 - Mar 2025)

• Developed and deployed a real-time predictive model for aircraft turnarounds, and helped evolve it from an internal tool into a scalable, commercial multi-airport product
• Ran the model in production end to end, including monitoring, performance analysis, and Grafana dashboards for operational health

Data Scientist at Nationale-Nederlanden (Oct 2022 - Jan 2023)

• Analysed experimental and real-world Battery Management System (BMS) data to look for early indicators of fire risk in lithium-ion batteries

Data science consulting across a range of industries, with most of my time spent on customer data and insights for telecoms.

• Delivered a lot of projects, led technical teams, and built up deep experience in machine learning, NLP, and deep learning

MSc Econometrics & Management Science, Quantitative Marketing (2011 - 2014)

Erasmus University Rotterdam. Focused on econometric models for marketing research. My thesis used unsupervised machine learning to analyse how Dutch newspapers portrayed political parties.

BSc Econometrics & Operations Research (2006 - 2011)

Erasmus University Rotterdam. Calculus, linear algebra, statistics, econometrics, economics, finance, and marketing. Exchange at Bocconi University in Milan, and an internship in Shanghai while learning Mandarin.
